Nothing compares to the magic and majesty of the purebred Friesian horse. As Friesian Horse Breeders, we breed only top quality FPS/FHANA registered Friesian horses, using only FPS/FHANA approved Stallions. We are also founding members of the South Central Friesian Horse Association, a Chapter of the Friesian Horse Association of North America (FHANA). Our Friesian horses are versatile, suitable for a wide range of disciplines, from dressage to driving, and they make great companions on the trail as well! All of our Friesian foals are imprinted at birth and are friendly, curious, and affectionate.

Teuntsje fan Snakkerstate – her 2007 foal will be for sale
Teuntsje fan Snakkerstate, Rypke X Gaije, 8 year old full-papered star Friesian mare, S-SP-S. Teuntsje was imported from Holland in 2005. She is a very sweet-tempered mare, quiet and friendly, with a lovely mane and tail and gorgeous feathers. Her previous offspring speak for themselves…and Teuntsje’s quality. All of her offspring have been either first or second premie, and her first two daughters, one by Gradus and one by Ulke, have already been awarded Star in Holland! Teuntsje is now in foal to Harmen 424 – the exciting new Teunis son – for 2007! This 2007 foal will be for sale! Check back soon for pictures!

Traveller D – SOLD!
Traveller D, Rindert X Rypke, S-S-SP-S, born May 14, 2006. Teuntsje's 2006 Rindert foal, Traveller D, is a big, beautiful boy with powerful, floating movements and a nice 2nd premie from the Dutch judges! "Congratulations to Traveller's new mom, J.C., in Oklahoma!"

Tyalda fan Ychten – It's a filly! – not for sale
Tyalda fan Ychten, Teunis X Oege, 8 year old full-papered star mare, MP-MPPrest-SP this mare has one of the most outstanding pedigrees you will ever see! Her mother is Marrit B, the model and preferent daughter of the famous Wijkje, who is the mother of not one, but two approved stallions, Tsjerk and Djurre! Tyalda is a very affectionate and friendly mare who loves human attention. Her trot is magnificent, full of power and suspension. Tyalda is in foal to former World Champion, Folkert 353 for a mid-July foal.

Tanwen D – not for sale
Tanwen D, Folkert X Teunis, S-MP-MPPrest-SP, born July 2, 2006 Tanwen is a Celtic name meaning "shining holy fire"...and this little filly is all that and more! At her recent inspection, the judges awarded her 1st premie and Champion filly, calling her "luxurious" with great conformation and floating, powerful movement. Regal and elegant and very sweet, Tanwen is everything a Friesian should be.

Betsy T – one of her foals is for sale
Betsy T, Jildert X Dagho, 14 year old studbook mare, everyone’s favorite! Betsy was our first Friesian…and love at first sight! She will absolutely win you over with her golden temperament, intelligence, and friendly nature which she always passes on to her offspring. Her 2002 daughter, Guinevere D, made star and Reserve Champion at the 2005 Texas keuring, and we suspect there will be more stars to come for Betsy! Betsy is in foal to Rintse 386 for an early May 2006 foal. See Betsy’s 2005 Rintse filly, Penelope D below. We will be keeping Penelope, but her 2006 full sibling is for sale!

Tempest D – FOR SALE!
Tempest D, Rintse X Jildert stb-SP-S-SP, born May 5, 2006 Very sweet and people-oriented, Tempest leads, loads and stands for the farrier, and will follow you around wherever you go! At her recent inspection, the judges awarded Tempest a 2nd premie with positive comments about her beautiful head and neck and nice movement. (See Tempest's full sister, Penelope D, from 2005) Tempest is for sale!

Guinevere – her foal will be for sale in 2007
Guinevere D, Wander X Jildert, Betsy’s star daughter, 4 years old, Stb-SP-S Guinevere made star and Reserve Champion at the 2005 Texas keuring at age three. She scored very well on both walk and trot, with the judges commenting that her walk was “beautiful.” Her trot is spacious and floaty, with the movement more suited to dressage. She is the more modern type Friesian that the judges are looking for these days. Guinevere is trained to ride and is very calm and willing under saddle. She has a kind and affectionate personality and, like her mother, Betsy, will always greet you at the gate whenever you appear. Guinevere is in foal to Beart 411, the World Champion from the 2006 stallion show in Leewarden, for a February, 2007 foal! We are very excited about this match and will proudly offer this Friesian foal for sale in 2007.
Penelope D – not for sale
Penelope D is Betsy’s 2005 filly by Rintse 386. The judges at the 2005 Texas keuring awarded her a second premie, commenting that she was a “beautiful” filly. Penelope is well-mannered and sweet with a beautiful, refined face, lot of energy and good use of her hindquarters. Her movement is more suited for dressage like her half sister Guinevere.
